CAMP! We’ve got 50 cheerleaders and all 4 coaches going to Camp this year!
BACKPACKS: – If you missed the deadline for the last round, please contact us for information on the next date.
COACH NICHOLE’S COMMENTS: We are a month out from cheer. You all have homework during this time to keep up with your skills! Just because you made the team doesn’t mean you have a spot in the homecoming and halftime routines. Athletes that show up prepared and conditioned will be the MAIN athletes regardless of team and age! Remember: If you are not practicing someone else is!
FLYERS – Heel stretch on both sides. Bow and Arrow (holding your left leg in the air) Flyers that have cross stretches and front stretches will be MAIN flyers regardless of team and age.
TUMBLERS – You must be able to throw your tryout tumbling during ALL HALFTIME AND HOMECOMING ROUNTINES! Take advantage of open gyms and keep up your skill.
BASES AND BACKS – your job is STRENGTH! Everyone needs to practice proper handling at home, straight arms, using your legs! Pushups daily go a long way. Please take advantage of open gyms and gaining new stunting skills this next month. If you show up with a stunt sequence with your stunt group on your team – we will use it!
